Alana Da Fonseca is an American songwriter, producer, engineer, and vocal arranger. She currently works on Primos, having played a significant role as one of the writers behind the Main Title Theme and serves as the series songwriter.[1]

Alana Da Fonseca grew up in Manhattan, surrounded by a vibrant community of musicians, owing to her father, the Brazilian jazz drummer Duduka Da Fonseca. Her musical journey began at a young age, singing even before she could speak and crafting spontaneous melodies with other musician kids. After graduating with honors from Purchase College, where she studied Music Production, she kicked off her career in New York City's award-winning music scene before transitioning into the film and TV industry in 2005.
Some of Alana's recent projects include her role as the music producer for the popular Netflix series Wednesday, as well as her contributions as a series songwriter for the upcoming Disney show Primos and the Netflix series Princess Power. She has also worked as a songwriter and producer for Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary anthem, The Magic is Calling, and as a vocal producer for Julian Casablancas' new album with his band, The Voidz.
Her impressive credits as an executive music producer include films like Pitch Perfect 3, Poms, Good Boys, and Alvin and the Chipmunks 3. She has also contributed her songwriting talents to various animated series such as Dreamworks Animation's Trollstopia, Madagascar: A Little Wild, Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, and the Nickelodeon series Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks. Alana's role as a vocal producer has led her to collaborate with notable actors like Will Ferrell, Rebel Wilson, Liam Hemsworth, Anna Farris, and Chris Evans, as well as renowned recording artists like Daft Punk, Sean Paul, Kesha, and Miley Cyrus.
