Cousin Bud Humphrey is a recurring and supporting character in Primos and the older brother of Gordita. He is voiced by Rick Simon.

As a verdant-loving teenager, he wholeheartedly embraces a lifestyle rooted in organic and all-natural practices, despite the irony of residing in the heavily polluted California area.
His unwavering positivity and upbeat attitude are constants in his character, occasionally punctuated by flashes of wisdom that belie his young age. A self-professed "hunter-gatherer" hippie, Cousin Bud harbors dreams of one day living off the land, fully immersed in a harmonious coexistence with nature.
However, the harsh reality of the desert environment proves to be a formidable challenge for Cousin Bud's aspirations. Despite his best efforts to bring the outside world indoors, he often finds himself in precarious situations as he navigates the unforgiving terrain. Nonetheless, his indomitable spirit and boundless optimism continue to fuel his determination to live authentically and in harmony with the natural world, even amidst the challenges he faces.
Of course, Cousin Bud wasn't always the nature lover he had always been - he was once a notoriously shrewd Sticky Paws seller named Cousin Buck, until he saw the light upon realizing that his fiscal achievements were at the expense of nature. Although he almost fully returned to his old ways in "Summer of Breaking Bud", he was able to regain his amicable and nature-loving self with the help of his primos.

Cousin Bud wears a white and red striped shirt paired with blue jean shorts, and he prefers to walk barefoot.

- Cousin Bud is one of the characters who share the same name (in this case, he shares a name with his uncle and primo Baby Bud).
- In the pitch bible, Cousin Bud was referred to as Cousin Dave who shares the same name with his uncle who was also originally named Dave.
- Cousin Bud's trait of walking barefoot everywhere, is similar to Rapunzel from Tangled and Cricket Green from Big City Greens.
- According to original concept art, Cousin Bud was originally going to wear sandals, but in the final cut, he is completely barefoot.
- As seen in "Summer of Breaking Bud", having his hair tied into a man-bun, along with him wearing sweatervest and shoes, is a way to turn him into the evil Cousin Buck. The only way to restore him to normal is by chopping off the man-bun.
