"Summer of La Extraterrestre" is the second segment of the eleventh episode of the first season of Primos, and the twenty-second episode overall.
It premiered on August 24, 2024 alongside with "Summer of The Baby Races".
Synopsis
Tater suspects one of her cousins might be an extraterrestrial.
Plot
The primos are all headed to the dentist. This is great news for Tater who can now stay at home and have the TV all to herself. However, this is short lived as ChaCha is the only primo not going as it turns out her teeth are perfect, while Pop continues to work in the backyard. ChaCha ends up changing the channel to a show about aliens, forcing Tater to sit and watch. The host of the series begins to list things that are common with aliens, including the possibility that they might be a cousin to someone, and Tater comes to the conclusion that ChaCha is an alien. She decides to follow her around the house to pick up more evidence.
ChaCha starts digging up crop circles, produces purple liquid from her mouth, and apparently has complete control over the electronics in the house. Tater confronts ChaCha with this knowledge and immediately suggests that the two of them become famous from this relative discovery. However, the alien show reveals that crop circles are used to contact other aliens and have also alerted the government who have had a history of coming and taking aliens away. Tater becomes frightened over losing ChaCha and the two see what appears to be a person in a hazmat suit pulling up to the house, along with what appear to be other aliens who have been brainwashed to work for the government.
Tater and ChaCha defend themselves against their enemies. After making a hasty escape, through a hole in a closet that ChaCha dug, they realize they forgot Pop. It turns out that the hazmat suit person was actually Buela having just come back from her bee keeping class. Tater comes to the realization that ChaCha is not an alien and that the "crop circle" was a picture of tater, the purple liquid was ChaCha's attempt at drawing braces to mimic Tater, and she controlled the machines with a remote. Tater apologizes for her mistake and ChaCha says, in English, "I love you Tater". As for the aliens, they turn out to be the primos with puffy lips. They all had cavities.
