"Summer of Los Bots" is the second segment of the nineteenth episode of the first season of Primos, and the thirty-eighth episode overall.
It premiered on October 5, 2024 on Disney Channel, alongside with "Summer of Hacienda Chills".
Synopsis
Tater wants payback for being Gordita's lab rat.
Plot
The Nachos, the T Sisters, and Tater and Nellie are playing a game of charades, though Nellie's heart isn't in it. Gordita, who lacks the gumption to personally interact with her primos, sits on the sidelines examining their behavior. Bibi tries to get her to join, but she insists that she rather view her relatives from afar rather than actually partake in their activities. She decides to do her own personal interaction by subjecting the primos to her experimenting, such as electrif ying Tater when she has a churro or having the Nachos salivate over bacon when they watch TV. She is caught and scolded b the primos, causing her to go outside.
Tater and Cousin Bud come to the conclusion that Gordita is sad because she does not know how to be sociable. The two decide to "help" her by getting her to be more interactive. Cousin Bud feigns damaging H2Bro the garden bot, so that Gordita can fix it, while Tater gets inside Gor3ta and pretends that she has gained sentience. While fixing H2Bro, Gordita comes to the conclusion that she has been taking her family for granted and not thinking of their behavior. Just as she makes this breakthrough, she discovers Tater and Cousin Bud's ruse and is angered that they would feel the need to lie to her in this fashion.
Gordita sets out to get revenge and creates numerous frog bots which she then uses to attack the primos. Tater hops into Gor3ta and mechs up and while Gordita forms her own mech with the robot frogs, though this turns out to be an exaggerated fight between the two cousins. Their fight is cut short when the primos begin to think that the frog robots are actually quite cute and ask if they can keep them. Gordita realizes that she can connect on a personal level and forgives Cousin Bud and Tater for being dishonest with her though Tater still struggles to eat churros without being electrified.
