"Summer of Los Limones" is the first segment of the twenty-fourth episode of the first season of Primos, and the forty-seventh episode overall.
It released early on March 5, 2025 on Disney+ and officially premiered on March 30, 2025 on Disney Channel, alongside with Summer of La Iguana.
Synopsis
With Big Nacho on a date, Nachito tries to show he can manage on his own, while Tater resists her urge to meddle.
Plot
Tater and Nachito are ogling over Big Nacho who is preparing to go on another date with Carmela. Despite their insistence of coming along, Big Nacho makes it known that he wants to be left alone with her. To distract them, he tells Nachito that he must go on a dino-quest for him. He must go over to Buela's house and get two fresh lemons for him. After he leaves to go on his quest, he tells Tater that she must go on a capy-quest for him. While Nachito is on his quest, she must follow him without meddling in his affairs. Tater admits that this is difficult for her to do, but she will accomplish it after performing a "primo promise" with him.
Nachito recruits Buff Egg, the daughter of Jean-Cluck Van Fried, to help with his quest, all the while Tater follows closely behind without being seen and without meddling, despite the radical urge for her to do so. Nachito succeeds in crossing the street, passing up Hector and his paletas, and makes it to Buela's where he is given the last two lemons. As he makes his way back, he decides to reward himself by buying some paletas, but the two lemons roll down the hill. Tater resists the urge to interfere, but Nachito and Buff Egg chase the lemons which end up flying into a cement mixer and get spat out into a wet cement patch.
Nachito is sad that he failed the quest, but Tater breaks her vow to go and comfort Nachito, telling him that Big Nacho will still be proud of him for taking the quest. They decide to simply go over and buy some new lemons from the supermarket instead. Back at home, Big Nacho returns where he happily sees Nachito and Tater having supposedly succeeded. He is slightly disappointed when he realizes that he brought two lemons rather than limes back (he referred to them as limones), but Tater backs him up and Big Nacho decides that instead of making key lime pie, he will simply make lemonade. Once again, Tater and Nachito praise Big Nacho.

- Los Limones is Spanish for the lemons, or the limes. Interestingly, Tater already knew this.
