Synopsis[]
After rescuing Nachito and earning his loyalty, Nachito becomes Tater's devoted sidekick, shifting the dynamic between him and Nacho.
Plot[]
While Tater tries to continue her plans, she laments the fact that she does not have much support on her end in Nellie. Outside, Nachito continues to copy and pester Big Nacho by trying to be like him and hype everything he does. Big Nacho quickly begins to get tired and frustrated with his constantly lionizing him and sends him on a "quest" to get a "dino egg" (actually just a chicken egg) from the coop. As he does this, Tater realizes that he will encounter Jean-Cluck van Fried, the biggest meanest chicken in the coop and rescues him. Nachito soon begins to idolize Tater and follows her around. Meanwhile, Nellie decides to knock Big Nacho down a peg by downplaying his actions.
Tater asks Nachito for advice on what type of tasks she should perform to which he understandably says all of them. When she tries out however, Nachito turns out to be incredibly agreeable to everything, much to Tater's annoyance. Nellie constantly has Big Nacho push himself to the limits, becoming more and more depressed as time goes on. Tater and Big Nacho meet both demanding that they have their own sibling back, causing Nellie to immediately give up. Big Nacho admits that he was too mean to Nachito and that he wants his little brother back as he is good at making him feel better. When Nachito comes asking for Tater, Tater suggests a "duel" to get Nachito back.
Tater and Big Nacho challenge each other to get the biggest egg from Jean-Cluck. While Tater distracts her, Big Nacho gets the egg, but it hatches causing the egg, Jean-Cluck, and the other chickens to chase the two throughout the yard, much to Nellie's indifferent delight. All the fowl cease their chase however when Nachito begins to compliment the eggs, telling the chickens that they should be proud of themselves. Moved the tears, the chickens all return to their coop, Big Nacho decides to devote himself to Nachito who welcomes him back with open arms, Nellie continues to pester Tater, and Jean-Cluck welcomes her chick.
