"Summer of Quehaceres" is the first segment of the second episode of the first season of Primos, and the third episode overall.
It premiered on July 25, 2024, alongside with Summer of La Muneca.
Synopsis[]
Bibi has Tater and Nellie help clean around the house while she entertains the Primos.
Plot[]
Tater believes that in order to attain her dreams, she needs a vision board, but does not know if she can if all her primos are there. Bibi is happily making breakfast for the kids and pulls Tater and Nellie to the side. Seeing as how they are the hosts, they need to throw their weight around and do some of the chores around the house. Nellie, in typical fashion, opts to avoid work by picking the simplest job: folding socks, only to go on an Ahab/Moby Dick-esque hunt for pairs. Tater takes on the first task of washing the dishes by using Baby Bud as a sponge. While she doesn't finish the chore, she doesn't have time to think as Bibi sets her up to do more work.
Tater finds herself traversing the house performing a variety of chores while Bibi entertains the primos with her impromptu artistic talents. After a long stressful run, Tater is forced to clean the bathroom next, much to her horror. The bathroom is dirty and Tater aptly refuses to do anymore work so that she can work on her vision board. When she finally sits down to do it, she finds that she does not have anything important to put on it. She suddenly overhears Bibi who, contrasting to her upbeat personality, is stressed out over having to entertain the kids and is thankful for Tater's help. Realizing that she has been selfish, Tater resumes cleaning the bathroom.
Big Nacho suddenly enters in need of having to go. To Tater's surprise, he kept the toilet incredibly clean and reveals that he has a habit of cleaning after himself. Nachito arrives and ask that he also clean up and the brothers get to work on cleaning the bathroom. Tater decides to create a chore board for the primos so that they can all pitch in and clean up after the various messes they leave behind. Tater and the primos show off the chore wheel to Bibi who is overjoyed. When Tater mentions making a vision board, Bibi gives her her best paints and colors to use. Meanwhile, Bud returns home to discover that Nellie made a sock mess in the garage.

Trivia[]
- Moral: Ask someone for help if you feel overwhelmed with too many tasks.
Productions[]
- This is the first episode overall to be animated in South Korea by Sugarcube.
- The Cookita version of this episode, along with "Summer of La Muñeca", leaked online early on May 30, 2024.[1]
- The three women that Tater idolizes are Astronaut Dr. Ellen Ochoa, Justice Sonia Sotomayor, and singer Selena Pérez.
- In the original leaked version of the episode, instead of Dr. Ochoa, Tater had Queen Elizabeth II as one of her heroes.
- The shot where Tater plops ChaCha and Lucita's tag on the chore chart has Tater's hand positioned slightly more to the right in the leaked version.
- It was produced in 2023 according to the credits, though this was changed to 2024 in the Lucita version.
- The Lucita/Terremoto version of this episode would later leak on September 11, 2024, however the Catbox links were removed via DMCA a few hours later. There are no differences between this version and the official release.
- On September 10, 2024, an animatic for Summer of the Mixtape leaked online, and it featured an unfinished version of the Hay Que Limpiar sequence.
- Lucita's hearing aids are turned the wrong way in the first two shots she appears in, and she had a thicker outline in the first scene.
- Vision Tiger doesn't animate when he winks.
- Tater's vision board is centered during the zoom-in, rather than also keeping her idols in frame.
- Tater isn't lip-synced during the "Please mom, you're killing me" line.
- The background of the kitchen as Tater's mopping the floor was changed.
- During the "All I gotta say is pffft pffft pffft" line, Vision Tiger was slightly repositioned and Tater's spit was removed. It does however remain in the other instance of "pffft pffft pffft".
- Tater and the hat she puts on the hat rack were slightly bigger.
- The background of the backyard as Tater's raking the leaves was repositioned so that Tater isn't as close to the swingset.
- The various positions of Vision Tiger in the last shot were also repositioned.
