Synopsis
Tater finds a way out of obligations with the primos.
Plot
Tater is spending time with Serena drawing in her diary and trying to discover her final form when Big Nacho suddenly enters declaring that it is primo pizza time. Tater is frustrated as she wanted to devote her time to discovering herself and does not want to be bothered by things she thinks are unimportant. She is suddenly hit with an idea when Serena admits that she can go for pizza. Tater will have Serena act as her "segundo" (second, but Tabi points out that it should be "doble", double) and stand in for her. Serena dresses up and Tater and goes with the primos to Quakey's where she turns out to have an actual good time with them.
Tater figures out that she needs a coat of arms to show what she wants in her final form and once again has Serena act as her segundo. Intrigued by the concept, Gordita leaves a robotic segundo of herself, dubbed Gor3ta, while she has her own alone time. Slowly, each of the primos proceed to find segundos for themselves, much to Big Nacho's annoyance. However, he too quickly succumbs to the power of the segundo and gets Jean-Cluck to fill in for him so that he can go out with Carmela. Tater completes her coat of arms, but remembers that the primos are not there with her and goes looking for them, only to find that the segundos have taken over everyone.
Tater begins to miss the primos and comes to realize that nothing can replace their distinct personalities. Meanwhile, the primos themselves begin to miss each other and Tater goes on a long trek to find a bring back each primo. Eventually, everyone comes together at Quakey's with things returning to normal. Tater presents her coat of arms which perfectly represents her and her family, cementing the bond that she has with them. Tater begins to wonder what happened to Serena and the segundos and it is quickly revealed that they are at Buela's house where they are trying her new chicken soup, much to Jean-Cluck's horrified irriation.
