Tere, Tabi, and Toñita Ramirez are the supporting and recurring characters in Primos. Tere and Toñita are voiced by Cristina Vee Valenzuela and Tabi is voiced by Nomi Ruiz.
Background[]
Tere, Tabi, and Toñita are a trio of equally happy and perky girls who move in perfect sync with one another. Their bond is evident in everything they do, from their synchronized dance routines to their harmonious singing. They take immense joy in showcasing their acrobatic and vocal talents, often performing impromptu shows for their family and friends. Driven by a shared dream of achieving fame, they are dedicated to perfecting their skills and seizing every opportunity to shine.
Interestingly, their ambitions align with those of their cousin, Tater. However, while Tater is still exploring various paths and discovering her true self, the T-Sisters are unwavering in their goals. They have a clear vision of their future and are relentlessly pursuing their ambitions with a focused determination. Their confidence and commitment to their dream of becoming famous serve as both a contrast and a source of inspiration for Tater as she navigates her own journey of self-discovery.
Appearance[]
Body[]
Tere is the medium-sized girl with light brown skin and dark brown hair styled in two pigtails. She has brown lips and a distinctive butterfly shaped birthmark on her left eye.
Tabi, the tallest and presumably the oldest, shares the same skin tone and hair color, which she wears in a long ponytail. She has a beauty mark on her right cheek.
Toñita, the shortest of the trio, has darker brown skin, dimples and dark brown hair in a shorter ponytail.
Clothing[]
All three girls wear long pink dresses adorned with T's on the front, each accented with their own color: light pink for Tere, orange for Tabi, and dark pink for Toñita. Their outfits are completed with matching pink sandals.
Trivia[]
- In the pitch bible Tere, Tabi, and Tonita were referred to Emily, Elizabeth, and Eva, while In the pitch-pilot, they were known as Lola, Lulu, and Lucita. Lucita's name would later be recycled for another primo.
- During the rollcall of the theme song in the pitch-pilot, Tabi/Lola was the first sister to appear instead of Tere/Lulu.
- In the title card that appeared in the pitch-pilot Tabi originally had Tere's birthmark, and Tere had Tabi's mole.
- Tabi is voiced by Nomi Ruiz who is something of a superstar herself. She is a singer and songwriter known for her work with the group Jessica 6.
- The official character poster that features the trio, incorrectly labels Tere as Tabi and vice-versa.
