The Shame of Love is the songburst in Summer of El Cringe, sung by Tater Ramirez Humphrey. Overhearing a few teenagers call her favorite book series "cringe", she ends up abandoning her love for the franchise as she lets their words get to her head, readying to donate her collection to the public library. Yet, she feels lost on if she should go through with it or not.
